”In the Garden” Waldorf-Inspired Summer Day Camp

The Malamalama  Waldorf School Garden-Arts Camp provides a healthy balance of stimulating and relaxing activities, indoors and out, with an emphasis on the arts and nature.

We offer two day programs: one for for 3-5 year-olds offered for Kinderhale children as well as a program for 6-12 year-olds. Our summer programs embody the Waldorf educational philosophy, nurturing head, heart and hands.

Our program is held on school grounds in well-maintained, licensed facilities.

Day Camp Details: 
Hours: 8am–2pm, Monday through Friday. Aftercare to 5:30pm is available for children ages 5 and up. Daily schedule is included with registration information.

Cost:

Snacks: Children bring their own snacks and lunches. During some events we provide special treats. Juice and other healthy drinks are provided.

Field Trips: Field Trips are arranged by summer staff with parent chaperones.

Supplies: Bathing suits, sunscreen, water bottles, extra clothing and sun hats will be required in order for the children to hike, swim and/or participate in any other outdoor activity.
